A fond farewell to our Maintenance Supervisor, Buck. Friends, colleagues, cake, punch and laughs were shared by the fireplace at the Lester Public Library.
Buck, you will be missed.

Yesterday, our very own page, Neysa, was recognized for ten years of service at Lester Public Library. Neysa's record of outstanding service is testament to Holiday House of Manitowoc County's success. Visit Holiday House of Manitowoc County online: http://www.holidayhouse.org/

Yesterday, March 19th, marked my first year anniversary as Lester Public Library's director. It was also my first year as a library director, period. I have learned so much this past year and intend to keep learning every day. I am fortunate to have landed in Two Rivers, its natural beauty and the people make this a wonderful place to live. Not to mention the library enjoys solid support from the entire community!
Thanks everybody and here's to many more!

Saturday February 9, 2008 - LPL staff were served salad, home made lasagna and treated to a sundae bar (after all, Two Rivers is the home of the Ice Cream Sundae!) and then took turns on the new Wii.
It is not often enough we recognize the contributions of our amazing staff. Thanks again everybody for making LPL an outstanding public library and a great place to work!
